The town has an Archaeological
Museum (68, Palaeologou street, tel.
no.0841/24.943, 22.462 and 22.382),
with rich and interesting exhibits from
the excavations in the area.

There is also a noteworthy Folk Art
Museum which occupies the ground
floor of the Port Police building (tel. no.
25093), and includes beautiful samples
of folk art - weaving, woodcarving - as
well as local costumes and Byzantine
icons.
